Recent and Upcoming Events!

On April 16th and May 7th Sigma Delt shopped and helped cook for the weekly community dinners for Students Fighting Hunger, which is a Dartmouth Tucker foundation organization that seeks to raise awareness about local, national, and global hunger-related issues while meeting local needs through community service and community dinners
throughout the Upper Valley.

On April 20th Sigma Delt sent 5 students to work on the Dartmouth Habitat For Humanity project. They helped paint the almost finished house that Dartmouth students have collectively been working to build this term.

Sigma Delt is gearing up for a big breast cancer fundraiser called Think Pink that will be happening on campus May 27th. Sigma Delt is organizing this event, which all of the sororities on campus are sponsoring and volunteering at. This campus wide BBQ will raise money and awareness for the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Sigma Delt has created a Relay for Life Team with 12 members. Relay for Life is a 24 hour walk that raises money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. The event will be taking place at Leverone Field House on May 22-23.

Sigma Delt sisters have created a knitting circle called “stich ‘n bitch” to knit blankets for earthquake victims in Chile to help them make it through their upcoming winter.
